Jim did a phenomenal job on our bathroom remodel. From quote to clean up he continuously impressed us with his skill, efficiency, and attention to detail. I still can't get over how quickly he completed our project (without ever seeming rushed) despite some a handful unforseen obstacles (including surprise knob and tube wiring)... After getting to know him a bit I can also say on top of all that he's really great guy. I am grateful we selected him for this project and recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a remodel.

If you have ever had to look for a good contractor, you can understand the painful process involved, so when you find one, it is very exciting. For our family, finding Jim and Spokane Home Repair & Remodeling was like hitting the lottery. From the very beginning, working with Jim was a great experience. He was open and honest about his timeframe, pricing and what he could do for our project. In every way he exceeded our expectations and often went above and beyond. We did a major renovation to our home, and Jim did the vast majority of the work, including: -Finishing an unfinished garage -All new VLP flooring and Trim -All new windows -Turning an unused family room into an office and mud room. -Replaced toilets and vanities -Turned an unfinished basement into a master bed and bathroom that included a 4x8 tile shower. When Jim was on site, he was always on task. He would show up between 8:30 and 9:00 unless he had to go to Home Depot first. If he was going to be later, he would always communicate it to us. He would work all day except for lunch and was usually on site until 5 or after on most days. The amount of work he actually got done each day was staggering, and the quality of the work was first rate. Each day when he left, the area he was working on was cleaned and free of debris and any tools were either removed or placed out of the way for the next day. But maybe the thing that mattered most to us was that Jim is a truly trustworthy and honest person. He started our project 3 days before we had to leave on a 9 day trip. After seeing his work ethic for the first few days of work, we felt more than comfortable leaving him with the keys to the house while we were gone. When we got back, he had done an enormous amount of work and the house and our belongings were exactly as they should be. If I could give Jim and Spokane Home Repair & Remodeling more than 5 stars, I would, because it is absolutely deserved.

My go-to for every project. Jim has replaced my doors and windows, done work on my siding and flooring, installed a bathroom fan, patched holes in the wall, rerouted wiring, installed a hot water heater, moved large stones in the yard, installed an external outlet, and several other small projects. Most recently he installed a very intricate backsplash in the kitchen. He’s done every job like it’s it’s in own home with attention to detail and precision. I would absolutely recommend him. And he does the work quick!

Highly recommend!! Jim came and did the demo for our kitchen and dining room to create an open floor plan for us. He was very diligent in keeping our home clean with as little dust as possible, making sure the rest of the house was unaffected, as well as triple checking that no supporting walls were being taken down. Jim also rewired and rerouted a lot of outlets and switches for the new layout and installed lighting. He was very knowledgeable and patient as I changed my mind about small details and explained to me the pros and cons of different scenarios. Jim will be the first person I call for our next home improvement!

Jim remodeled my kitchen with new counter tops, back splash, and laminate floors, took out a window and installed a new door, installed a new kitchen door, hooked up my new washer/dryer and installed new doors in my laundry room, hung new window blinds, updated my bathroom with a new vanity, toilet, flooring, and other smaller projects.
